I don’t care what anyone says… Alcohol is one of the most vile, contemptible, and evil things on this Earth! The absolute filth that comes from these people’s mouths when they’re swimming in that darkness. Kids screaming, dogs barking, people falling, satanically laughing at the crudest things, and telling hate filled lies. Turning family against family!… I’ve been dealing with this since I was a kid… My anger towards it and words mean nothing though, the fear and tears of these babies while all these demented sick people cackle and howl mean absolutely nothing… And they want to judge me because I’m a Muslim???…. I pity these people.. It’s my duty to be dutiful though. To keep picking them up everytime they fall. To guard these children. To keep forgiving them. To hold my rage and continue to preach to the spiritually dead who don’t feel the pain they pass to others just thier own. Oh My God, remember me… Remember what I did here… Guide these people because I cannot! While they passed out I poured all thier evil down the drain… Peace

I am a walking contradiction of traditions some say. An African American and Native American Muslim poet with a personal life history as violently turbulent as a Storm. A visionary from the bottom of life’s social barrel striving to share the hope found in the light of faith through sometimes dark but real poetry. I’m a former member of the Bloods street gang, former serial bank robber, and both federal/state prison convict. I live on my mother’s tribal reservation of the Leech Lake band of Ojibwe in Minnesota.
