One day u’ll see… One day u’ll understand it all… I keep telling myself this…im 41 years old now and I’m still kicking rocks down the road… I was hated for being bad… And now I’m critized for being good… No middle road in this life… At least not with other people… Yeah Pack… U most definately are the oddest of figures… But…keep on doing what feels right to u… Even if u silently suffer for it… Be true to u

I am a walking contradiction of traditions some say. An African American and Native American Muslim poet with a personal life history as violently turbulent as a Storm. A visionary from the bottom of life’s social barrel striving to share the hope found in the light of faith through sometimes dark but real poetry. I’m a former member of the Bloods street gang, former serial bank robber, and both federal/state prison convict. I live on my mother’s tribal reservation of the Leech Lake band of Ojibwe in Minnesota.
