An explanation… this is said in all respect to my relatives, friends, and neighbors who call themselves Christians and follow the faith called Christianity. I was asked, why I don’t follow and worship the lord. I asked, who is the lord? I was told Jesus is lord. I said, I do follow jesus by worshiping the lord. Did u not know that Jesus called the lord lord too and worshiped him? So, I worship the lord of ur lord. The first commandment. I am the lord thy god that took u out of Egypt. Thou shalt have no other gods before me… because I speak much Arabic and am familiar with concepts totally untouched by many of my fellow country men I know things they are unaware of. The word Allah… in America the word spreads so much fear because of its misuse by certain psychopathic criminals but if u only knew what it connotes U’d see with clarity that no, I worship no devil or idol, but the originator, maker, developer, provider, and sustainer of all the worlds. In Arabic this word is a proper noun… a name given “only” to the supreme deity who in our faith is set aside as having no equal or inheritors. Who has no lineage as people ascribe to him and who needs no help, advisors,or partners in his authority over his own creation. He is, and for ever has been, Alone, as ruler over the heavens and earth and whatever is in them. He is dependent on none, but all are dependent upon him. For us, there is no human bridge to him we must cross to find rightness with him. He knows all and is completely sufficient and capable of managing all affairs in regards to punishment or pardon, giving or withholding with complete and perfect wisdom and knowledge. Our lord does not and cannot die. His nature cannot be totally known or contained in the minds or words of men. The greatest of all mysteries is the one we call Allah. Unlike the word God, which can be turned into “gods” .. “ goddess “ “ goddesses” etc there is nothing that can be called Allah but Allah! The Creator! The One and unique lord, master, and owner of all that exists. A word is but a finger pointing to a concept… do u really think God doesn’t hear me or acknowledge my plea to him when I address him with this exalted and exclusive title? He is the giver of language… do u not know this??? Even Arab Christians have no other word to call him besides Allah… again even this fact is unknown by many. I wish u well on ur journeys ppl… I’m not ur judge… but ur not mine either… I know who I turn to when I cry to the heavens…my maker…that’s it… and I will call upon no other…the one with many names… and all of them mean him…may he hear, answer, and guide us all… Ameen.
